My neighbor wants me to design and update a website for her small business. She's willing to pay me but I'm not sure how much to charge. I don't just want to throw random numbers out there. Can anyone give me some input?

It depends on 3 criteria:
1. How often does her business require changes.
2. Do you have to design & format graphics.
3. How many pages & images (the limit) will you agree to maintain.

I assume this is your first "Web Master" job. Make a three month contract and charge $15.00 dollars an hour as an introductory offer for a new customer. Let your neighbor know that at the end of that period you will be charging $30.00 an hour. You have three months to show off your skills!

if u know what ur doing no less that 75.00 n hr

Probably about $40-$50 IMO as the other companies charge hundereds.
