Y do Europeans thing Americans are uninformed about politics?

I've seen many comments on yahoo that claims Americans don't get all the news. We have Fox News, CNN, plus numerous local and world news stations and that's just TV. We also have many radio talk shows that deal with the news and politics. We aslo have the internet. Is it possible that Europe isn't as informed as they believe?
Oopse claims is supposed to be claim
Also the word thing is supposed to be think
