Jesus taught? How can churches promote and support "our troops" without being hyprocites on what they are supposed to be teaching? Jesus said to "love our neighbor", so how could churches love their neighbors with guns? Regardless of what other have done....

Wow you really need to read the entire bible before you make assumptions like that. We get involved in Politics because we are suppose to vote for people most Christ like, that are going to follow through with God's laws, and even if there is no one close, we are suppose to choose the best candidate. We are also suppose to respect our Leader and not talk bad against him/her and obey the laws as long as it doesnt come above God. God doesnt want us being walked all over, and if we need to defend ourselves, there's nothing wrong with that. Invading our country and killing innocent people is a form of evil, and we need to protect ourselves.
