I've been having trouble playing games online. I seem to be having problems connecting to the game's server. It has happened to a couple different games(Company of Heroes, Call of Duty 4). I've figured out it isn't my internet and isn't the game. It is some sort of setting on my pc that seems to be preventing me from connecting - get a couple types of errors, but it is because I'm not connecting properly. It started happening after I did a complete system recovery. I DO NOT have any firewalls or anti-virus/spyware programs installed and I DO NOT have a router.

I used to be able to play these games, but as I said after I did a complete system recovery it hasn't been working. I contacted my ISP and the game tech support and both told me to ask the other. So if someone knows what this is, or has any suggestions of what I can do, please let me know.
