Go to view, toolbars, then click on address bar.

If the adress bar is activated, it will have a checkmark next to it. If it is still gone, there will be no checkmark.

ask him to put it back,and figure out if porn really bothers you so much that he has to hide it.If you are ok with it(in moderation) let him know.
